Lawn Fawn Christmas card - Here we go a-waddling and Joy to the woods

Happy Lucia everyone!

We've just returned home after a very nice Lucia "concert" at the kindergarten - here in Sweden we celebrate Lucia today and all children sing to parents, friends and family and there are also Lucia concerts in various places around the city. Such a nice tradition!

In lack of Lucia stamps - here are some singing penguins from Lawn Fawn instead! :-)

I started out by making the square sky background using some Distress Oxides in Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey and Antique Linen. After blending them for a seamless look, I splashed some water droplets from an ordinary spray bottle (nothing fancy) and wiped off with a paper towel to get the oxide effect.

The house die is from Lawn Fawn and I believe it's an add on to the stitched hillside pop-up, though I didn't use that here, I used instead the stitched hillside borders for the snowy hill, which also coordinates fine with the house die.

The penguins, the bird and the lamp were all colored in with Copics. Highlights were made with a white gel pen, some Nuvo crystal glaze and a snow marker.
The bird, trees and holly are from the stampset "Joy to the woods" and the rest of the stamps are from "Here we go a-waddling".

I'm entering this card to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge "Stitch It".

See you soon! //A
